Princeton Public Library will reopen study rooms, extend Café hours

Princeton Public Library

PRINCETON — Beginning March 1, the Princeton Public Library will open study rooms for 60-minute sessions. Patrons may call to reserve a study room for one-on-one tutoring, interviewing, test taking or general studying. Each of the three rooms will be open to no more than two people at a time.

Patrons can reserve a room by calling the library at 815-875-1331, or emailing help@princetonpl.org.  In-person requests can be made at the circulation desk and will be subject to availability.

Likewise, the library Café will extend their services to include limited seating. Customers can again sit along the counter or at a table. The Café will remain open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.

The library and the library Café continue to require social distancing and mask-wearing upon entry.

The Princeton Public Library Board of Trustees sees the library as an essential part of maintaining the well-being of the public during this pandemic and thank the community for their patience and understanding. Everyone is excited to be one step closer to wellness.
