Area students named to dean’s lists

Honor Roll

Lewis University

ROMEOVILLE — Just over 1,500 students were honored on the Lewis University dean’s list for the 2021 spring semester.

To be eligible for this honor, students must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours during the semester with a grade point average of at least 3.5 and with no “D” or “F” grades. Area students included on the list were Kyle Pikula of Spring Valley and Aubrey Testa of Peru.

University of Dubuque

DUBUQUE, Iowa — Olivia Vergamini and Colton Youngren of Princeton were named to the spring semester 2021 academic dean’s list at the University of Dubuque.

To be named to the dean’s list, a student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale for that semester.

Bradley University

PEORIA — More than 1,800 students were named to Bradley University’s dean’ list for spring 2021.

To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must achieve a minimum 3.5 grade point average for the semester on a 4.0 scale. Area students included on the list were:

Arlington — Devin Soldati.

Ladd — Genevieve Parente.

Mendota — Samuel Becker.

Peru — Thomas Scholle, Jacob Steinberg and Matthew Klein.

Spring Valley — Tori Bogatitus.

Tiskilwa — Justin Hoffeditz.

Trinity Christian College

PALOS HEIGHTS — Lydia Smallwood of Princeton was included on the dean’s list for spring 2021 at Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights.

The dean’s list is Trinity Christian College’s highest academic honor. Adult undergraduate students who achieve a semester grade point average of 3.8 or better in six or more graded credits earn this honor. Traditional undergraduate students who attend Trinity full-time and earned a 3.5 grade point average earn this honor.

University of Nebraska-Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. — Hannah Schmidt of Tampico has been named to the dean’s list at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the spring semester of the 2020-21 academic year.

Schmidt, a senior majoring in global studies, advertising and public relations, and journalism, was named to the dean’s lists for the College of Arts and Sciences and College of Journalism and Mass Communications.

Illinois Wesleyan University

BLOOMINGTON — Illinois Wesleyan University’s dean’s list for the spring semester of the 2020-21 academic year consisted of 801 students from 30 states and 15 countries. Area students included on the list were Eden Bushnell of Henry, Alexa Dawson and Avary Kampwerth of Peru, and Joshua Sims of Sheffield.

Aurora University

AURORA — Aurora University has released its dean’s list for the spring 2021 semester. The dean’s list recognizes full-time undergraduate students who have earned a 3.6 grade point average or higher. Students recognized with high honors (*) have earned a perfect 4.0.

Area students included on the dean’s list were:

Bureau — Ashley Erwin*, elementary education.

Ladd — Griselda Chavez*, social work.

Princeton — Vincent Vergamini*, sport management.

Augustana College

ROCK ISLAND — Augustana College in Rock Island announced more than 1,100 students were named to the dean’s list for the 2020-21 spring semester. Students who have earned this academic honor have maintained a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale for courses taken during the term.
