Trilogy Lounge to replace former Paradiso restaurant in St. Charles

A lounge that will feature music and comedy shows, among other things, is taking over the space formerly occupied by Paradiso restaurant in St. Charles.

Paradiso, an Italian restaurant, previously had been in the space at 2051 Lincoln Highway (Route 38).

Owner David Brown is a former professional athlete who played for the Chicago Rush/Chicago Slaughter in the Arena Football League. He owns Power Athletics Wellness in St. Charles, a nonprofit agency that focuses on helping low-income individuals, people with disabilities, veterans and seniors.

Co-owner Cherman Wilson is also a former professional athlete who is a conductor at the BNSF Railway. He also owns a home health care business.

As part of the business plan, Trilogy Lounge will offer live music as well as food that is catered from local restaurants.

St. Charles City Council aldermen unanimously approved a liquor license and 2 a.m. late-night permit for Trilogy Lounge. As proposed, Trilogy Lounge will be open from 2 p.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Thursday, 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. Sunday.
