The Yorkville American Legion will host its Friday night fish fries beginning Feb. 19.
These will be plated, carryout events from 4:30 to 7 p.m., featuring breaded fried cod, baked tilapia and breaded fried shrimp. All dinners include french fries, baked beans and coleslaw.
The new menu and pricing are $14 for a jumbo platter that includes two pieces of cod, one piece of tilapia and three pieces of shrimp; $13 for a combo plate that includes two pieces of cod and three pieces of shrimp or two pieces of tilapia and three pieces of shrimp; $12 for a plate that includes three pieces of cod or three pieces of tilapia; $11 for a dinner that includes two pieces of cod or tilapia; $11 for a shrimp dinner that includes six pieces of shrimp; or $6 for a chicken tender dinner that includes two pieces of chicken.
Baked goods will be offered by the Legion Auxiliary in the hall.
