Registration, tickets now available for several Swedish Days events between June 24 and 27

The Geneva Chamber of Commerce announced that signup is open for three Swedish Days events requiring tickets and registration, according to a news release.

The Swedish Days 5K Lopp will begin at 7:30 a.m. June 26. The Scandinavian race encourages runners to show their Swedish pride by dressing in blue and yellow. Register at https://raceroster.com/events/2021/47985/swedish-days-lopp-5k by June 10 to guarantee a T-shirt at packet pickup.

Live music returns to the festival with Dala-Palooza beginning at 1 p.m. June 26. The Geneva Chamber of Commerce, assisted by the Kane County Cougars, welcomes ARRA and Trippin’ Billies to Northwestern Medicine Field. Elise Flagg Dance Studio and Lisa Thomen also are scheduled to perform.

Food and drinks will be available to purchase at Dala-Palooza. No outside food or drinks can be brought into the stadium. The concerts will be held in the Music Garden of the stadium so attendees should bring chairs and blankets. Tickets cost $15 and can be purchased through the Kane County Cougars ticketing system. Parking will cost $5 per car (cash only) that day.

Swedish Days wraps up June 27 with the new Choklad Crawl, which will feature 15 businesses offering chocolate-inspired products. The $18 ticket includes all 15 businesses, plus a goody bag. Tickets can be purchased at www.genevachamber.com/product/choklad-crawl/.
