Drive-up Easter Bunny events across McHenry County to benefit local United Way

The Easter Bunny will visit three locations across McHenry County on Saturday, April 3, as part of drive-up events meant to raise money for the United Way of McHenry County, according to a news release.

For a suggested donation, participants can drive up to one of three locations around the county and have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny and other costumed characters. Goodie bags will be handed out while supplies last.

Donations will benefit the United Way of Greater McHenry County for its annual campaign, which supports 33 local nonprofit agencies.

The events will take place at the following locations. Learn more about the charitable organization at uwmchenry.org.

  • 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Above the Barre Dance Academy, 5308 W. Elm St. in McHenry;
  • 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Woodstock Opera House, 121 W. Van Buren St. in Woodstock;
  • 2 to 5 p.m. at Hickory Hall Banquet Hall, 406 W. Woodstock St. in Crystal Lake.
