Oswego police investigating holiday decoration thefts

Oswego police took separate reports of holiday decorations being stolen from yards on Friday, Dec. 11.

A resident of the 400 block of Frankfort Avenue told police at 8:47 a.m. that someone stole inflatable Christmas decorations valued at $227. The victim told officers the theft occurred at 4:30 a.m.

In another incident, police said a resident on Bluegrass Parkway reported the theft of decorations valued at $100, also at 4:30 a.m.

Police said they are investigating both incidents.
