Driving while license suspended

Yorkville police cited Aranda Marquez, 36, of the 1700 block of Southfield Drive, Aurora, for driving while license suspended and driving with one headlight after a traffic stop at 10:58 p.m. Nov. 25 in the area of Route 34 and Autumn Creek Boulevard. Marquez was cited and released on a personal recognizance bond.

Domestic battery

Yorkville police arrested Aaliyha Gaines, 18, of the 1300 block of Marketplace Drive, Yorkville, on a charge of domestic battery after responding to a call at 10:45 a.m. Nov. 26 in the 1300 block of Marketplace Drive. Gaines was taken into custody and transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville to await a court appearance.

Driving under the influence

Yorkville police arrested Justin Colley, 26, of the 2700 block of 3853rd Road, Sheridan, on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane use after a traffic stop at 2:39 a.m. Nov. 29 in the area of Fox and Main streets. Colley was taken into custody and transported to the Kendall County Jail to await a court appearance.

Possession of cannabis

Yorkville police cited Daniela Bucia, 18, of the 500 block of Victoria Lane, Oswego; Mercedes Moreno, 20, of the 700 block of Fifth Avenue, Aurora; and Corey Pryor, 19, of the 0-100 block of Wyndham Drive, Boulder Hill, each for possession of cannabis, after a traffic stop at 10:14 p.m. Nov. 25 in the area of Kennedy and Galena roads. Upon investigation, officers obtained marijuana from each passenger in the vehicle. Bucia, Moreno and Pryor were cited and released on-scene.

Harassment through electronic device

Yorkville police arrested Nicholas Spondike, 44, of the 2900 block of Old Glory Drive, Yorkville, on a charge of harassment through electronic device, following an investigation, at 10:15 p.m. Nov. 7 in the 2900 block of Old Glory Drive. Spondike was released on his own recognizance pending a court appearance.

Yorkville police took a report of identity theft at 11:11 a.m. Nov. 30 in the 2100 block of Northland Lane, where an unknown subject opened up a false claim of unemployment in the victim's name.

Harassment through electronic communications

Yorkville police took a report of harassment through electronic communications at 10:54 a.m. Nov. 30 in the 100 block of Bertram Drive, where the victim reportedly received a harassing email.

Yorkville police took a report of identity theft at 12:42 p.m. Nov. 30 in the 3200 block of Pinewood Drive, where a false claim of unemployment was filed in the victim's name.
