LaSalle County coronavirus update: 2 deaths, 63 new cases, 73 new recoveries

Two LaSalle County men in their 80's have died from complications related to COVID-19, increasing LaSalle County's number of deaths to 129 since the beginning of the pandemic, and 61 since Nov. 1.

LaSalle County had 63 new cases on Saturday: two females under the age of 16, five men in their 20's, six women in their 20's, six men in their 30's, eight women in their 30's, four women in their 40's, four men in their 50's, four women in their 50's, two men in their 60's, six women in their 60's, a man in his 70's, three females in their 70's, a man in his 80's, eight females in their 80's, a man in his 90's, and two females in their 90's.

The LaSalle County Health Department also announced 73 new recovered cases, bringing the total recovered cases in the county to 3,460. there are currently 2,459 active cases in LaSalle County.

The IDPH's ZIP code data (which sometimes lags behind county numbers) report, with increases since Wednesday, shows:

• Streator, also in Livingston County, up 5 to 969

• Sheridan up 7 to 216

• La Salle up 7 to 685

• Sandwich, also in DeKalb County, up 19 to 645

• Marseilles up 6 to 419

• Somonauk, also in DeKalb County, up to 149

• Oglesby up 4 to 288

• Utica up 3 to 115

• Serena remains at 26

• Seneca up 2 to 157

• Earlville up 3 to 117

• Wenona, also in Marshall County, up 1 to 55

• Leland up 1 to 75

• Tonica remains at 45

• Millington, also in Kendall County, remains 28
