Seneca High names September students of the month

Seneca High School teachers and staff selected by the following students of the month for September:

Amber Vroman, Student of the Month: Amber is the daughter of Eric and Joyce Vroman of Seneca. She plans to attend a four-year liberal arts college and study sports psychology or physical education and continue her career in cross country and track and field. Amber is active in FCA huddle leader, TRUST, National Honor Society (vice president), a student ambassador, Math Team, Speech Team, WYSE, CIA, Spanish Club, wrestling manager, cross country, track and field, Youth Philanthropy and band.

Riley Johnson, Role Model of the Month: Riley is the daughter of Jim and Karissa Johnson of Seneca. She plans on pursuing nursing at a four-year university; she is undecided which one. She is active in volleyball (four years, captain for three), track, HOSA, FCCLA, WYSE, Young Philanthropy and NHS.

Katelynn Buchanan, Most Improved Student of the Month: Katelynn is the daughter of Kelly and Tom Buchanan of Seneca. She plans to attend Illinois Valley Community College to study forensics.

Hanah Bradley, Rookie of the Month: Hanah is the daughter of Chad and Sarah Both of Verona. Her plans are to go to college to become a nurse practitioner She is active in track and also participates in rodeo (barrels, poles, and goat tying). Hanah said she would like to thank the teachers and staff at the school for helping her with everything and making her feel welcome. She said she loves the atmosphere, and the school feels like one big family, which is the kind of environment that is much needed in times like these.
