Seneca High names August students of the month

Seneca High School teachers and staff selected by the following students of the month for August:

Levi Maierhofer, Student of the Month: Levi is the son of Jeff and Jenna Maierhofer of Seneca. Levi plans to attend college but is undecided on a course of study. He is active in cross country, Scholastic Bowl, Speech Team, baseball, FFA, Math Team, WYSE, a student ambassador, fall plays, spring musicals, concert/marching/pep band, wind ensemble, FCA, GSA, TRUST, CIA, Drama Club, Spanish Club, NHS, and Irish Live Broadcasting.

Madison Jones, Role Model of the Month: Madison is the daughter of Phil and Savanah Jones of Seneca. She plans to attend Illinois Valley Community College or Joliet Junior College to pursue a degree in nursing then transfer to St. Francis to continue her education. She is active in volleyball, softball, Art Club, FCA, Student Council and Young Philanthropy.

Nate Aldrich, Most Improved Student of the Month: Nate is the son of Mariann Aldrich of Mazon. After high school, he plans to attend Joliet Junior College to enroll in welding courses. He is active in football.

Faith Baker, Rookie of the Month: Faith is the daughter of Bryan and Deb Baker of Verona. Faith's plans after high school are to attend college. She iss undecided on a course of study but knows she wants a career working with children. She is active in basketball, volleyball, softball, FCA, FCCLA, Spanish Club and is vice president of the freshman class.

Carter Thomas, Rookie of the Month: Carter is the son of Melissa and Shannon Thomas of Mazon. His plans after graduation are to attend college for a field in engineering and acquire a career in that field. Carter is active in cross country, basketball, track, FFA and Robotics Team.
