Providence Catholic High School announces students of the month for October

John Harper, principal of Providence Catholic High School, is pleased to announce the school’s “Students of the Month” for October.

Every month, each academic department chairperson selects one student as its “Student of the Month” from a number of students nominated by faculty and staff.

Students of the Month receive a certificate of recognition, have their photos displayed in Providence Catholic High School’s main hallway for the following month and receive a special lunch.

This year, the school is also choosing one online learning student each month as well, and having a special lunch delivered to their home.

Students of the Month for October are:

Emily Langlois, sophomore, New Lenox, chosen for computer science and applications. Emily is a graduate of Liberty Junior High in New Lenox.

Daphne Arispe, sophomore, Joliet, chosen for fine arts. Daphne is a graduate of St. Jude New Lenox.

Cameron Sicinski, sophomore, Joliet, chosen for theology. Cameron is a graduate of St. Paul the Apostle in Joliet.

Vincent Cappello, senior, Homer Glen, chosen for mathematics. Vinny is a graduate of St. Michael in Orland Park.

Bailey Griffis, junior, Plainfield, chosen for world languages. Bailey is a graduate of Noonan Academy in Mokena.

Taylor Issa, senior, Shorewood, chosen for social sciences. Taylor is a graduate of St. Paul the Apostle in Joliet.

Ashley Chaveriat, senior, Tinley Park, chosen for English. Ashley is a graduate of St. George School in Tinley Park.

Mia Ficht, junior, Frankfort, chosen for science. Mia is a graduate of Noonan Academy in Mokena.

Abigail Pintoy, senior, Plainfield, chosen for fine arts. Abigail is a graduate of St. Mary Immaculate in Plainfield.
