BOYS CROSS COUNTRY: For LWC's Simone, consistency wins out

This fall's cross-country season, some would say, was a throwback to the 1970's when you ran dual meets and very few big invitationals were even around. But even back then the season finished with a state championship meet, something this year's teams and athletes did not have a chance to participate.

In choosing the Herald-News Boys Cross Country Runner of the Year was equally as difficult as there were many runners at the top, but no one dominated the area scene, especially with the absence of the big invitationals to see who was that dominant runner.
