Oswego School District 308 Board of Education to host public forum next Monday

Murphy Junior High School in Plainfield to serve as forum site; seating will be limited due to social distancing measures

The Oswego School District 308 Board of Education will host the second of two biannual public forums, Monday, Nov. 2, at Murphy Junior High School, 26923 West Grande Park Boulevard, Plainfield.

According to a press release issued by the district, there will be a limited number of seats available for in-person attendance, due to social distancing and gathering size restrictions. All attendees will be required to wear a face covering and complete a health screening form.

Those who would like to request in-person seating for the forum, can do so by submitting an online form, found on the district's website, indicating their choice, and can also submit questions for the board using the same form.

The forum will run from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m., and will be livestreamed on the district website.

Questions will be accepted through Thursday, Oct. 29, and will be read and answered in the order they are received, for as long as time permits.
