Hearty soups and stews virtual class and cooking demonstration will be Nov. 10

Henry Public Library is offering a virtual class on hearty soups and stews from University of Illinois Extension.

Soup is nutritious and generally inexpensive to prepare. Learn the many varieties of soups, how to layer different flavors and benefit from good nutrition. Attend this virtual class in the comfort of your own home.

Join Susan Glassman, nutrition & wellness educator from the University of Illinois Extension, on Nov. 10, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Glassman will present the class and demonstrate how to make a seasonal butternut squash soup via zoom. Handouts and recipes will be available.
