Driving while license suspended

Yorkville police arrested Robert McIntosh, 32, of the 400 block of Lee Street, Plano, on a charge of driving while license suspended after a traffic stop at 6:42 p.m. Oct. 12 in the area of West Main Street and Route 47. McIntosh also was cited for operating a vehicle with suspended registration and driving without insurance. McIntosh was later released on a personal recognizance bond.

Speeding, DUI

Yorkville police arrested Michael Piatek, 19, of the 2000 block of Wilson Creek Circle, Aurora, on charges of speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop at 12:40 a.m. Oct. 13 in the area of Route 34 and Orchard Road after observing a vehicle traveling 70 mph in a 45 mph zone. Upon investigation, officers determined that Piatek was driving under the influence of alcohol. Piatek was taken into custody and transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville to await a bond hearing.

Driving without a valid license

Yorkville police arrested Trey H. Smith, 18, of the 800 block of Martin Court, Plano, on a charge of driving without a valid license after a traffic stop at 11:57 a.m. Oct. 15 in the area of Route 34 and Isabel Drive. Smith was arrested and later released with a date to appear in Kendall County Court.
