Two-vehicle crash leads to car in creek in Spring Grove

A two-vehicle crash in Spring Grove led to one vehicle going into the creek on Wednesday evening on Route 12 and Solon Road.

Captain Dean Jordan of the Spring Grove Fire Department said they were called out to the scene about 6 p.m.

One vehicle had gone off the road and down the embankment into the creek, Jordan said.

Two people, one from each vehicle, were taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Route 12 was shut down until 8:15 p.m., Jordan said.
