The IHSA announced on Tuesday it was teaming up with COUNTRY Financial to recognize the rich tradition of Illinois high school volleyball with IHSA Girls Volleyball Vintage Games.
Through interactive polling, fans can vote for some of the greatest state championship matches through history.
The Cary-Grove vs. Lyons match for the Class 4A state championship is one of 14 matches on the list. C-G (41-1) lost to the Lions 25-23, 19-25, 25-23 in that match.
Fans will be able to vote on their favorite matches from Thursday through Sunday on ihsa.org. Visit the page and vote on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram.
