Once again, Jimmy Graham proved to be a touchdown machine at the goal line.
Twice against Atlanta on Sunday, Graham caught touchdown passes in short-yardages situations near the end zone.
The veteran tight end had his best game in a Bears uniform, hauling in six catches for 60 yards and two touchdowns. The Bears erased a 16-point deficit and beat the Falcons.
“To battle through this adversity the way we have, on the road, again, it shows our character,” Graham said. “It shows the type of family we are and truly we’re never out of a game.”
Graham caught a touchdown each from Mitch Trubisky and Nick Foles, after coach Matt Nagy switched his quarterbacks in the second half.
When the Bears passing game is clicking – like it did in the second half Sunday, and in the fourth quarter against the Lions two weeks earlier – Graham seems to be involved.
Graham called Foles’ execution Sunday “pretty special.”
“It was pretty cool to see and pretty cool to be a part of,” Graham said. “Obviously, it’s been a very unique start to the season for us, a very unique three games for us, and it’s truly taken everybody.”
