Week 3 power rankings: Who's ready for this Chiefs-Ravens showdown?

Our power rankings are updated each week during the NFL’s regular season and are intended to rank teams based on their talent and performance to date.

Rankings will change each week because of personnel changes, injuries and performance, and a team’s ranking in any given week has no impact on where they might rank in weeks to come. Rankings will fluctuate a great deal more the first few weeks of the season as teams seek their levels and schedules balance out.

These are our NFL Week 3 Power Rankings:

1. Baltimore (2-0): Looking unbeatable again but we'll know more after this Sunday.

2. Kansas City (2-0): Even struggling with Chargers the Butt-kicker made it look easy.

3. Seattle (2-0): Will need some 'D' eventually but who's going to out-score No. 3?

4. Pittsburgh (2-0): Scoring just enough, but man can they pressure a quarterback.

5. Green Bay (2-0): A-Rod is obviously better than just fine, but can they stop the run?

6. L.A. Rams (2-0): Didn't see this coming, but these guys as impressive as anyone.

7. New Orleans (1-1): Got lost in Vegas, but these guys always stumble early once.

8. New England (1-1): Obviously Belichick gets Cam, how much better can they be?

9. San Francisco (1-1): This may be too high, can they hang on until they get healthy?

10. Dallas (1-1): Knew the defense was shaky but expected better than this.

11. Tennessee (2-0): 2-0 is great, but does it feel like something's missing?

12. Buffalo (2-0): These guys may be very good, but haven't been tested yet.

13. Las Vegas (2-0): If they can handle the Saints, they may be ready for anybody.

14. Tampa Bay (1-1): Much better Week 2 but beating up Panthers doesn't cure all ills.

15. L.A. Chargers (1-1): Forgot how good this 'D' is, will keep them in lots of games.

16. Chicago (2-0): Flashes of great, flashes of awful, 2-0 but two plays away from 0-2.

17. Arizona (2-0): Murray is quite the weapon, but not sure yet about the 'D'.

18. Indianapolis (1-1): Impressive Week 2 but need more to wipe out Week 1 flop.

19. Houston (0-2): Chiefs, Ravens and now the Steelers, who made up this schedule?

20. Atlanta (0-2): Back home for Bears, face a literal Week 3 must-win.

21. Philadelphia (0-2): NFC East will wait, but these guys haven't shown anything yet.

22. Minnesota (0-2): Winless is one thing, but noncompetitive so far. A real problem.

23. Jacksonville (1-1): Surprised how well they've played so far but still short on talent.

24. Cleveland (1-1): Most teams can beat the Bengals, can Brownies beat anyone else?

25. Washington (1-1): Down to earth last week after huge opening-day surprise.

26. N.Y. Giants (0-2): Still young, Daniel Jones has time, but he must protect the ball.

27. Miami (0-2): No shame losing to heavyweight Pats and Bills, but better handle Jags

28. Denver (0-2): Losing Miller, Lock and Sutton may be too much to overcome.

29. Detroit (0-2): Can Patricia can survive wasting one more double-digit lead?

30. Carolina (0-2): This is what rebuilding with a rookie head coach looks like.

31. N.Y. Jets (0-2): We continue to wonder what exactly Adam Gase's plan is here.

32. Cincinnati (0-2): Clearly 32nd last year, it's where they stay until they win a game.
