Letter: Thank you to Love INC volunteers

To the Editor:

We at Love INC have been overwhelmed by the support and patronage shown by the Dekalb/Sycamore communities. During our recent fundraiser sale, many generous families called us to donate goods for the sale. The patronage of happy customers made our fundraising a success.

We at Love INC (In the Name of Christ) have set a priority to assist members of our community who are truly experiencing a setback. This additional community support has boosted our efforts exponentially. But our work does not stop there. As we partner in this ministry with area churches, we are aware of the need for ongoing action. As Christ has called us to action, we ask others to come alongside us.

With grateful appreciation, we acknowledge the efforts of our tireless volunteers. The weather was hot but the sun was surely shining in Dekalb.

I have lived in the DeKalb/Sycamore area for only five years, but I now know what an incredible community we have. I am so proud to call DeKalb my hometown.
