La Salle County Farm Bureau Foundation selling frozen family meals

The La Salle County Farm Bureau Foundation will be holding a Prep Freeze Cook party, selling prepared, frozen meals for families.

All meals are prepared locally in central Illinois using fresh ingredients and no preservatives, with the menu including — root beer pulled pork, cheesy chicken and potatoes, Parmesan honey pork roast, taco casserole, tater tot casserole, breakfast casserole, butter garlic pork with cream cheese, chicken and biscuits, brown sugar-glazed chops and honey garlic chicken.

Meal packages can be purchased for families of five ($171.70 for the 10 meals) or families of two ($85.85 for the 10 meals).

Order forms and payment details can be found at www.lcfb.org or on the Farm Bureau's Facebook page. Orders are due by noon on Sept. 30. Pick-up will be Thursday, Oct. 8, from 4-6 p.m. at 4201 Columbus St. in Ottawa.
