Bears running back David Montgomery left Sunday’s game against the New York Giants with a neck injury. His return was listed as “questionable,” according to the team.

Montgomery took a handoff in the second quarter and leaped over a player who was down on the field. As Montgomery was airborne, a Giants defender hit him and he fell to the ground head-first.

Montgomery was down on the field for several minutes. He later walked off the field under his own power.

Montgomery had scored a 28-yard touchdown in the first quarter to give the Bears the lead.
