Fox Lake police on Tuesday announced officers made three impaired driving arrests and one felony drug arrest during the Labor Day enforcement campaign.

The department also issued 11 speeding citations, charged one person with driving while their license was suspended, and wrote seven citations for various other traffic citations, according to a news release.

More than 10,000 people have died in crashes involving impaired driving in each of the last four years in the U.S., according to the release.

The statewide “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” and “Click It or Ticket” campaigns are funded by federal highway safety dollars administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
