The Kishwaukee College Continuing Education department will welcome Chef Rudy Galindo for an online, live summer grilling workshop series.
Participants will have the chance to interact with Galindo as he demonstrates how to create delicious grilled foods and cocktail suggestions. Recipes will be provided. Classes will be offered via Zoom. A recording of the class will be sent to participants for future reference. Cost is $10 per person for each demonstration.
The series includes:
• Summer Wines & Appetizers, 6 to 6:45 p.m. July 16
Galindo will cover how to pair delicious grilled appetizers with refreshing summer wines.
• Fish Tacos & Watermelon Margaritas, 6 to 6:45 p.m. July 23
Participants will learn how to prepare fish tacos with grilled corn salsa. Galindo will share his recipe for the ultimate summer margarita: watermelon.
• Brunch Bites, 11 to 11:45 a.m. July 26
Decadent eggs Benedict with Nutella-filled crepes will be covered during this class. Get the recipe for a Paloma drink to complement the meal.
• Smoked Pork Belly with Maple Glaze, 6 to 6:45 p.m. July 30
Get Galindo’s tips to smoking an incomparable pork belly. Learn the secret to a mouth-watering maple whiskey glaze. A hearty mac and cheese recipe will be presented as well.
