29 new COVID-19 cases, no deaths reported in McHenry County on Saturday

The McHenry County Department of Health reported 29 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday afternoon.

There were no new deaths, according to the MCDH.

This brings the county's total coronavirus cases to 1,375, and keeps the number of deaths at 69.

McHenry County's total number of unduplicated tests is 8,358. Of these, 16.4 % identify as positive. The rate of positive tests per 100,000 is 446.1, and the number of negative tests per 100,000 is 2,269.4.

Woodstock continues to have the most confirmed cases in McHenry county. As of Saturday, there were 255.

In Kane County, the health department said there are now 5,575 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 152 deaths. Lake County's total number of cases, according to the Illinois Department of Public Health, is 7,465, with 250 deaths.

As of Saturday evening, Crystal Lake (60014) had 173 confirmed cases, McHenry (60050) had 169 cases, Harvard (60033) had 138, Lake in the Hills (60156) had 117 and Algonquin (60102) reported 84 cases.

Cary (60013) reported 75 cases; Crystal Lake, Bull Valley and Prairie Grove (60012) had 71; Marengo (60152) had 64; Johnsburg and McHenry (60051) had 58; Huntley (60142) 60; Wonder Lake (60097) 35; Spring Grove (60081) 25; Fox River Grove (60021) 17; Island Lake (60042) 17; and Richmond (60071) seven.
