Coach Matt Olsen's comments: "We're still building, we're still young, we're more experienced than last year, but we still have a lot of growth to make toward where I want to be."

The lowdown: The Royals graduated four valuable seniors who Olsen said provided "nearly half" of their offensive production last spring. Olsen said if the team plays to its potential, it could play around .500 baseball. Olsen said the team has made improvements in the offseason by increasing accountability.
