Plainfield student raises awareness of radon

Kaelyn Wiltse was awarded two monetary prizes for her efforts to help spread the word about the dangers of radon.

Kaelyn's video was deemed best video in Illinois by a panel of judges and her video received the most views over social network platforms, earning her both top prizes awarded throughout the entire state of Illinois.

In addition to her monetary prizes, Kaelyn's video also played on the big screen at every Cinemark Movie Theater throughout Illinois during the summer to help raise awareness of the dangers of radon.

Kaelyn, a sophomore, is currently on the honor roll at Plainfield High School – Central Campus, varsity cross country and varsity track teams.
