Joliet police: Suspects using card skimming devices on local ATMs

JOLIET – Joliet police are investigating several incidents of card skimming at ATMs in the city and other communities, authorities said.

In the last couple of weeks of February, several suspects have placed skimming devices on ATMs in Joliet, Minooka and other communities, police said in a Facebook post Thursday.

“Be alert for any unusual electronics placed around the ATM card slot and keypad before using it,” police said.

Joliet police released several images of suspects who allegedly used a card skimming device.
