Yorkville man charged with DUI in fatal Route 47 crash

The Kendall County State's Attorney's Office has charged a Yorkville man involved in a fatal accident at Route 47 and Galena Road that killed a Sheridan woman.

Yorkville police announced Thursday, Feb. 22, that Bradley A. Anderson, 29, of Cotswold Drive in Yorkville was arrested Feb. 15 on multiple charges of felony aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol in connection with a Dec. 9 accident that killed Tina Turner, 32, of Sheridan.

Police said the crash occurred on Route 47 about 400 feet north of Galena Road. Police said Anderson's 1999 Cadillac DeVille and Turner's 2011 Ford Fusion collided head-on in the accident. Witnesses told officers that Anderson's vehicle was "driving erratically and swerving prior to the crash," police said.

Turner was killed on impact and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
