WEST BROOKLYN – Anne M. Corcoran, 75, of West Brooklyn, died Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017, at OSF St. Paul Medical Center in Mendota.
Anne was born Nov. 21, 1941, in Sublette, to Clarence and Ethel (Logue) Vickrey. She married Justin Corcoran on July 22, 1959, at St. Mary Church. She was a member of St. Mary Church and the church’s Altar and Rosary Society.
She is survived by her husband; five sons, Timothy Corcoran of Madison, Wisconsin, Gregory (JoAnn) Corcoran of Pick City, North Dakota, Jerome (Tina) Corcoran of Amboy, John (Lisa) Corcoran of Sublette, and Jeffrey (Tracy) Corcoran of Belvidere; 32 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ellen (Jerry) Donahue of Mendota and Marilyn Ackerman of Oglesby; and one brother, David Vickrey of Mendota; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Stephen; and a granddaughter, Zoey.
Visitation will be from
9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Church in West Brooklyn, and the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, with Rev. Randy Fronek officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery in West Brooklyn.
Merritt Funeral Home in Mendota is handling arrangements.
