Shorewood police: Suspect sought sex with father and son

SHOREWOOD – A man posted an online ad seeking sex with a father and son, police said.

Cordale P. Hallin, 25, of the 1700 block of Countryside Drive, was arrested Tuesday after he went to meet them about 3:30 p.m. in the 11000 block of Jefferson Street, Deputy Chief Jason Barten said.

Instead, Hallin was met by police officers and arrested on charges of possession of child pornography, grooming a minor for sexual purposes and traveling to meet a minor for sexual purposes. He was booked into the county jail on $750,000 bond.

Barten said the FBI's Child Exploitation Task Force began investigating Hallin in early March after he posted an advertisement soliciting sex on Craigslist.com. Agents and police officers contacted Hallin and exchanged messages before setting up the meet.

After Hallin was arrested, police searched his cellphone and found photographs of child pornography, Barten said.

"There are also indications he was trading [child pornography] photos," Barten said. Hallin's computer and electronic equipment were seized when his house was searched and will be examined, Barten said.
