Glenn A. Hansen Jr.

Mr. Glenn A. "Skip" Hansen, Jr., 48, of Morris, passed away Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012, following  a courageous, long and hard fight against kidney disease.

Born Sept. 17, 1963, in Joliet, Ill., Glenn was a son of Glenn and Janet (Breen) Hansen.

He was employed for several years at ITW in Mazon.

Glenn loved to fish, watch the Chicago Bears and enjoyed listening to rock and roll music. But most of all, he truly enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survivors include three daughters, Alanah J. (Keith) Terry of Morris, Gabrielle A. Hansen of Morris and Ashley N. Hansen of Mazon; one step-daughter, Amy Bottoms of Mazon; one step-son, Lance Harms; three sisters, Chris Anderson of Morris, Lynn (Bruce) Erickson and Lori (Rolf) Helland, all of Morris; one brother-in-law, Chad Waters of Vero Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren, Ella, Sophia, Allison, Alexis and Ryland; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Marcy Waters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m Friday, Aug. 10, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Rev. Edward J. Howe, CR will officiate.

Interment will follow at Saratoga Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, at Fruland Funeral Home, 121 W. Jefferson St., in Morris.

Memorials may be directed to the family for later distribution of their choosing.

Serving as pallbearers are his nephews, Brian and Eric Anderson and Jason, Ryan and Shawn Erickson.
